For your faith in God

A place for Worship

St Augustine’s is a friendly and welcoming church.

We offer two worship services on a Sunday at 10am and 4:30pm.

Our 10am service is an intergenerational service with Communion.

As part of the family of God we believe that all ages should come together to worship him.

This service is liturgical and follows Common Worship Order One, however, we do not robe or process, and everyone is encouraged to take part, and to engage in the service as much as they are able to.

There are flags for worship, activities for those who might need something to do to help them focus and bean bags at the front if the chairs get too uncomfortable!

We meet for refreshments after the service in the Aspire Room.

On the second Sunday in the month we hold a more informal Family Service with communion.

Our 4:30 service recognises that Sunday mornings can be a busy time in today’s culture and so Sunday afternoons may be more accessible. The service is called ACTS (afternoon church tea service) and is a relaxed, informal service which incorporates short accessible liturgy, an interactive communication style, craft activities, sung worship and coffee!

All are welcome, whether you have a family, prefer this style of service, or have Sunday morning commitments.

We share a meal together at the end of the actual service for which there is no charge, and you are very welcome to join us if you come along to this service – there is always enough food to share.

Both Sunday Services are live streamed to our Youtube channel.
